These Portable Deli Salad Recipes Will Make You The Star of Your Potluck

February 10, 2015 by FaveGlutenFreeRecipes

Not all potluck recipes are deli salad recipes, but absolutely all deli salad recipes are perfect potluck recipes. In fact, I don’t know if I trust a potluck that doesn’t have at least one deli salad (besides mine) on the table. Actually, I probably wouldn’t even trust the people at the potluck if none of them brought a deli salad.

In my opinion, deli salads are the best kinds of salads. As I’ve posted about before, I love pasta so much, so if I can include it in a quick and easy salad, I’m all for it. Of course, I’m a fan of all kinds of deli salads whether they have pasta. I don’t discriminate because they all make me happy.

Deli salads are the best kinds of salads

While your friends, family members, or fellow church goers are all planning on cooking up a lasagna or baking a few batches of brownies (because I feel like those are the most common potluck recipes and, therefore, dishes you should never bring to a potluck), you can break the boring potluck recipe mold and make a deli salad instead. Plus, deli salad recipes make for big batches that feed tons of people, so they’re definitely one of the most budget-friendly potluck options.

Worst case scenario: Someone else brings a deli salad too. However, there’s a very very small chance that it’ll be the exact same deli salad that you made and there’s no such thing as too many deli salads. The same can’t be said for lasagnas, am I right?

Anyway, what you should take away from this whole thing is this: You need to bookmark all of these portable deli salads so that you can make them for your next potluck (or any meal that you ever eat).
