Recycled Pickle Jar Santas

November 1, 2016 by Cheap Eats and Thrifty Crafts

My granddaughter, Erica, has been at it again making crafts adding embellishments to repurposed materials-this time: mayo, spaghetti and pickle jars. She purchased trims at a dollar store. The final cost for each jar came to $2 or $3.

you will need:

jar

character decorations

craft paints-optional magic markers.

A hot glue gun is also needed

To make the jars:

paint the jars-may take several coats to get intensity you want

paint details using photos as reference-you don’t have to be a great artist-these have a cute Grandma Moses look

hot glue decorations on-voila-you are done

I think they are adorable! Mine is the blue winter scene, it has a Christmas tree inside that blinks [yes, it was only $1 also]

These are great kids crafts. It was hard to chose a favorite.

Have a great crafting day
