Quilting is expensive. It’s just a fact. From the machinery to the fabric to all the notions you need to pull the whole project together, every quilt project is a lot of dollars. That’s why little tricks and secrets for saving money are so crucial.
One of the best ways to same money–and time–in quilting is to invest in precut bundles, rather than bolts. Quilts designed with precuts in mind generate fewer scraps (and less wasted fabric) but allowing you to buy exactly the amount of fabric you need and not an inch more.
With that in mind, we’ve put together a list of our absolute favorite precut patterns. Whether you like jelly rolls, fat quarters, charm packs, or layer cakes, we have something for you!
Do you use precuts?
