Do you know what today is? It’s Thirsty Thursday – duh! That means it’s time to break out the vino and toast to the (almost) end of a very long week. When the party’s over, you can save your empty wine bottles and let your creativity shine!

There are so many uses for empty wine bottles. You can create wine bottles crafts and use them to decorate your living room, mantel or porch. If you don’t have a glass cutter (after all, not many of us do), you can decorate the outside of your wine bottles and dress them up! Whether you use paint, fabric or glue, you can’t go wrong when you breathe new life into an old wine bottle.

No matter the finished product, you can rest assured that the final result will look good and benefit the planet. Cutting down on waste is always a good idea, and there’s no better way to go green than with these genius wine bottle crafts.

Wine bottles are anything by trashy. The smooth texture of the glass and the slim design make these the perfect canvas. You can cover them in paint, hemp or decoupage glue for these projects and produce amazing results no matter what. If you want to make summer last a little longer (who doesn’t?), you can bring the beach home with decorate wine bottles. You can also get in on a trend and use chalkboard paint to customize a wine bottle. Chalkboard paint is fantastic because you can always wipe away your message and start over.
